Class members can get a cash payment of about $18.65. Consumers who used TaxAct products in California and those who filed jointly might get larger payments.

Additionally, those who use a TaxAct product to prepare their 2024 tax return will get free Xpert Assist.

Who are Eligible?

People with a U.S. postal code whose spouse used a TaxAct online DIY Form 1040 tax filing product and filed a tax return with it between January 1, 2018, and December 31, 2022.
