My Experience Ordering A Footwear on Walkjoyful.com

I ordered shoes from Walkjoyful.com after seeing advertisements promising comfortable and health footwear, fast delivery, and easy returns. However, the shipment took much longer than expected to arrive. When I contacted the seller to request a cancellation, I was met with an automated email promising a quick response from an agent, but I received no reply. Checking the tracking information was difficult and required translation from Chinese. Despite multiple requests to cancel, I couldn’t reach anyone for assistance. To top it off, the shoes were uncomfortable and had an irregular fit. It turned out to be an expensive mistake!

NB: Their customer service is virtually non-existent, making it nearly impossible to resolve any issues or obtain refunds. It’s clear that Instrumentw.com is intentionally engaging in deceptive practices to cheat customers out of their hard-earned money.

Other Customers’ Reactions

Company offered 19.99 for a refund on my 50.00 shoes. Or offered me the option to send them to China, and once they were received in China, they would notify the company in America that they were received. They would not pay for shipping to China. 350 dollars to ship these shoes to China. This company is a scam

Michelle

Took over 2 weeks to get. Shoes were cheap and my feet hurt almost instantly when I put them on. Emailed customer service for a refund/return. They wanted a picture of the shoes, SKU# and some other info. I said that’s not possible. They came back and said please send picture. I did, and they offered 20% refund and keep the shoes. I said no, I want a full refund and a label to return. Still waiting.

Red Flags Spotted On Walkjoyful.com

Walkjoyful.com appears to sell valuable items at a click, however, here are other variables to considered before ordering. Thus, the following points will help further.

No Contact Information

This store has not provided any contact details on its website. Legitimate companies usually provide multiple ways to contact them, such as a phone number, email address, and physical address. If the website only offers a generic email address or no contact information at all, it could be a scam.

No Accountability

There is no accountability if you are scammed as the owner’s information is not known. The absence of a real face to account for the store’s operation indicates a red flag.

No Social Media Engagement

The online shop is not linked to any social media platform. Trustworthy stores always provide social networking platforms to its website for further information and customer engagement. Too bad for a so-called online store.

Avoid Being a Victim To Scam Sites

Conduct an online search to cross check the website’s name, photo, location, email address and other details for legitimacy.

Verify the trust seal of the website-

In order to confirm site’s legitimacy, certificate authority (CA) has created a stamp as sign for certified sites. And, with the trust seal like Trusted site certification, shoppers can be informed of their security on the site.

Use the Google Transparency Report-

Each day Google’s safe browsing technology discovers thousands of unsafe sites and compromised sites appearing on the internet. This, you can search specific URLs to see if a site is compromised.

Check for the site’s social media presence-

Having an eye on the website’s presence on social media is another way to detect scam store. Watch out for things like copied content or recycled images, poor engagement, lack of transparency and link to malware or phishing.

Points to Be Aware When Buying from Walkjoyful.com

Not Receiving Your Package

This is the typical pattern with fraudulent online shops—you’ll see the charge on your account, but the package never arrives.

Receiving A Different/ Inferior Product

Getting something totally different from what you ordered can be like falling for a bait and switch scam. This happens when you expect one thing but get something else entirely. For instance, imagine ordering a wardrobe online and receiving a cheap plastic pair of sunglasses instead. It’s frustrating and unfair.

Hacked Credit Card

There’s a risk of your credit card being hacked when you shop at dishonest online stores. This can result in unexpected charges for items you didn’t buy or being charged more than you should be. Sometimes, they repeatedly take money from your credit card without your permission.

Final Thought:

It’s important to stay vigilant and cautious when shopping online to avoid falling victim to scams like Walkjoyful.com.

In cases like this, shoppers are advised to be aware of the red flags and better create awareness and prevent others from falling victim to similar fraudulent schemes.
