Lawsuit against Trader Joe’s Company 

In the lawsuit, Trader Joe’s sells Almost Everything Bagels in packaging that prominently displays the words gluten-free on a large, red background. However, a lawsuit claims that these bagels may not be truly gluten-free.

Trader Joe’s Violation Class Action

MomsAcrossAmerica.com published test results from the Health Research Institute, a testing company that is claimed to be reputable. According to the lawsuit, the tests showed that the Trader Joe’s bagels contain 269.8 parts per million (ppm) of gluten, as scientifically validated.

The class action lawsuit also requests a court order requiring Trader Joe’s to cease advertising the bread as gluten-free and to conduct a corrective advertising campaign.
