In the lawsuit, IQVIA broke the law by not telling employees about the costs and risks of their 401(k) plans. The company also chose expensive and poorly performing investments, causing employees to lose money, according to the plaintiffs.

IQVIA denies any wrongdoing or liability but has admitted to pay $3.5 million to settle the lawsuit.

Terms to IQVIA Settlement

People involved in the class action can get money from the settlement fund based on their account balances at the end of each year during the class period. Current participants will see this money added to their accounts. Former participants can receive their share as a check or have it transferred to another retirement plan like an IRA.

People who were involved in or benefited from the IQVIA 401(k) plan, previously called the Quintiles 401(k) plan, from June 23, 2014, to May 24, 2024.
