I bought the Alien Seal Spray and I would be sharing my honest review of this so called waterproof sealant. Stick with me as I review its claims to easily open up clogged pipes and to also let you know if you should go ahead and buy it!
What Is The Alien Seal Spray?
According to brand, the Alien Seal Spray not only seals but enhances with a deep black color, perfect for adding a clean, finished look to any project while delivering a powerful sealing action.
Sharing My Personal Experience Using The Alien Seal Spray
I saw an Ad for the Alien Seal Spray n TV and then placed an order for mine. I was excited to try out the Alien Seal Spray after seeing some promising reviews, but my experience didn’t quite live up to the hype.
I had high hopes for the Alien Seal Spray based on the marketing claims, but after using it, I was left disappointed. The idea of a quick, easy fix for sealing leaks around windows and doors seemed appealing, but the actual performance fell short.
First off, applying the spray was more difficult than expected. The nozzle didn’t provide an even spray, and the consistency was far too thick. I ended up with globs of sealant in some areas and barely any coverage in others. Despite carefully following the instructions, the spray didn’t seem to adhere well to surfaces, especially around uneven edges.
The drying time was another letdown. The product claims to dry quickly, but it took hours for the sealant to become even remotely tack-free. Even after waiting longer than recommended, it still felt sticky, and I could easily peel it off, which made me question its durability. As for sealing leaks, I tested it around a drafty window, hoping for a noticeable improvement. Unfortunately, I didn’t see any difference. The cold air still seeped in, and within days, the seal started cracking in places. It didn’t seem to provide any significant insulation or long-term protection, which defeats the whole purpose.
In the end, it was a Waste of time and money.
Alternatives
If the Alien Seal Spray didn’t work well for you, here are a few reliable options that tend to perform well for unclogging drains:
- Flex Seal Spray
- Gorilla Waterproof Patch & Seal Spray
- 3M All Weather Flashing Tape
These alternatives are well-regarded for their performance, and you should be able to find a suitable option based on your specific needs.
Conclusion
Overall, Alien Seal Spray didn’t work as promised. It was messy, ineffective, and not a reliable solution for sealing windows and doors. I would recommend looking for alternative products that are easier to apply and deliver better results. I feel like I wasted my time and money on this one.
