I’ve been battling with fungal infection in my toe nails after having a cut while I was receiving a pedicure. I came across the Nonyx Nail Gel and decided to give it a try. This my honest review would reveal in detail if this product actually works as claimed. Stick with me as I review it and if it is worth the hype!
What Is Nonyx Nail Gel?
According to brand, the Nonyx Nail Gel is a clinically proven effective topical nail solution for fungus damaged and discolored fingernails and toenails.
Ingredients In Nonyx Nail Gel
the key ingredients in this fungal treatment include:
Deionized Water, Ethanoic Acid, Xanthan Gum, Fragrance
The manufacturers of the Nonyx Nail Gel have also claimed that it works by targeting the food supply of nail fungus, keratin debris. As the yellowing keratin debris buildup is cleared out of the nail, it takes the fungus with it.
How To Use The Nonyx Nail Gel
- Hold the point of the tube onto the nail and press lightly
- Apply a thin layer over the entire nail surface, including under the free edge of the nail
- Avoid gel contact with abraded skin around the nail. Avoid excessive nail trimming before application. Socks or shoes may be worn before the gel dries.
Sharing My Personal Experience Using Nonyx Nail Gel
I got Nonyx Nail Gel because I have been on a hunt for something to something to clear the fungal infection on my toenails. I had high hopes for Nonyx Nail Gel, but after using it for several months, I have mixed feelings. I bought it to help with thick, discolored toenails, and I was ready to commit to the long process of clearing them up.
Applying the gel is simple enough—you just squeeze a few drops onto the nail and spread it around. It has a slightly sticky consistency, but it dries quickly. There’s no strong smell, which I appreciated, and it didn’t sting or burn like some treatments do.
As for the results or lack for them, This is where things get frustrating. I used Nonyx every day, as directed, and I did see some improvement, but it was painfully slow. After about two months, my nails looked a little less yellow, but they were still thick and brittle. I kept going, thinking maybe I just needed more time. By four months, I could tell that my nails were growing out clearer from the base, but the old, damaged part was still there.
One major downside is that it doesn’t soften the thickened nail—you still have to file it down regularly. Plus, if you miss even a few days, it feels like you lose progress.
Does Nonyx work? Sort of. If you’re expecting a miracle cure, this isn’t it. It might help over time, but you have to be ridiculously patient and consistent. If your nails are only mildly discolored, this could work faster for you. But if they’re really thick and damaged, it’ll take months (if not longer) to see a real difference.
Would I buy it again? Maybe, but I’d also look for something faster.

Whomever is the maker of this product, please, pretty please, DO NOT LET ANYONE ALTER YOUR MEDICINE! LOL I have tried so many things for my feet that had fungus, then discoloration, from otc to prescription, to those independent makers that are supposed to be doctors with their own products that charge expensive prices,

How Much Is The Nonyx Nail Gel
It is sold for $20.98 on Walmart.
Cons
- It has slow results, takes time before one can notice an improvement.
- While it helps clear discoloration over time, it does not make thick nails thinner or easier to trim.
Conclusion
If you’re willing to commit to daily use for months, Nonyx Nail Gel may gradually improve the appearance of discolored nails. It’s gentle, odorless, and safe to use, but it’s not a quick fix. The biggest downside is how slow the process is—you need serious patience to see real results. Plus, if your nails are very thick, it won’t soften them, so you’ll still need to file them down regularly.
Overall, it’s a decent option for mild to moderate nail discoloration, but if you’re looking for a fast or more powerful treatment, you might want to explore other solutions. Would I use it again? Maybe, but only if I had no better alternatives.
