I bought V Vaxy and I would be sharing my honest review of this so called car scratch repair wax that claims to remove scratches. Stick with me as i review it and also let you know if you should buy it.
What Is The V Vaxy?

According to brand, the V Vaxy is designed specifically to eliminate fine scratches and imperfections from your car’s paint, they also claim that the Car Scratch Repair Wax effectively addresses minor scuffs and superficial scratches, restoring your vehicle’s finish to its original brilliance.
Sharing My Personal Experience Using The V Vaxy
I really wanted to like the V Vaxy Car Scratch Repair Wax, but unfortunately, it didn’t work for me at all. I’ve got a few light scratches on my car from parking lot dings, so I figured this would be an easy fix. The application process was pretty simple—just rub it on, let it sit, and buff it out with the included microfiber cloth. It went on smoothly, and the cloth was soft, so no complaints there.
But when I checked the scratches afterward, they were still pretty noticeable. The wax did nothing to really reduce their appearance, and if anything, it just added a bit of gloss to the area. It didn’t “repair” anything like I was hoping for. Maybe it works for super minor imperfections, but for my car’s scratches, it didn’t make a dent.
I gave it a second try just to be sure, but same result. It’s not like I expected miracles, but it didn’t even seem to help with the smaller, shallower scratches.
I don’t know, maybe I got a dud or maybe it works better for other people’s cars, but for me, this product was a letdown. I’ll be looking for something else next time.
Alternatives
If the V Vaxy Car Scratch Repair Wax didn’t work for you, there are a few other options out there that are worth considering. Here are some popular alternatives that tend to get good reviews for scratch repair:
- Meguiar’s ScratchX 2.0
- Turtle Wax Scratch Repair & Renew
- 3M Scratch Removal System
- Chemical Guys VSS Scratch and Swirl Remover
- Formula 1 Scratch Out
- Sylvania Headlight Restoration Kit
- Mothers California Gold Scratch Remover
I’d recommend looking for something based on how deep the scratches are—if they’re more superficial, a product like Meguiar’s or Turtle Wax should work well. But for deeper scratches, you might want to step up to something like the 3M system or Chemical Guys VSS. Also, it helps to test any product in an inconspicuous area first to make sure it’s not too harsh on your car’s paint.
Conclusion
In the end, I really wanted to like the V Vaxy Car Scratch Repair Wax, but it just didn’t do what I hoped. While it was easy to apply and gave a nice shine, it didn’t do much to actually improve the appearance of the scratches on my car. For light imperfections, it might work for some people, but if you’ve got anything deeper or more noticeable, I’d say look elsewhere. I’ll be trying something else next time and hoping for better results. It’s not a total loss, but definitely not a go-to for me.
