I bought the Abracadabra Cleaner and I would be sharing my honest review of this so called “contractor strength,” Stick with me as I review this spray that claims to eliminate tough stains and also let you know if you should go ahead and buy it!
What Is The Abracadabra Cleaner!
According to brand, the Abracadabra Contractor Strength Super Cleaner is a cleaner that eliminates the toughest, gooiest, grease, grime and gunk with ease. . It claims to be a heavy duty formula that will remove water spots, soap scum, rust and other common contaminants
Sharing My Personal Experience Using The Abracadabra Cleaner
I saw an Ad for the Abracadabra Cleaner on TV and then placed an order for mine. Though it took some time but I finally received it, well all I can say is that it fell short of my expectations. After all the hype around it being “contractor strength,” I expected this product to deliver superior cleaning power, but it fell short in several areas.
I used the cleaner on a variety of surfaces that were mentioned in the product description, including, Grease stains in the kitchen, Dirt and grime build-up on my patio furniture, Some scuff marks on my garage floor.
For the grease stains, I followed the instructions carefully, applying the cleaner directly to the grease spots and letting it sit for a few minutes before scrubbing. Unfortunately, the grease didn’t budge as much as I’d hoped. After multiple attempts, it did fade, but only slightly. A regular household cleaner did a comparable job.
Cleaning my Patio furniture, This was where I saw the most disappointment. I expected it to cut through the outdoor grime easily, but it took a lot of elbow grease on my part. The end result wasn’t much better than what I could achieve with cheaper products. The cleaner didn’t live up to the “wonder” it promises.
For my garage, The scuff marks and light oil stains barely changed after using the cleaner. I was hoping for at least a noticeable difference here since the product claims to be “contractor strength,” but I ended up using an alternative cleaner that worked far better.
For something advertised as “contractor strength,” I expected heavy-duty results, but it really struggled with tougher stains. Also, The cleaner has a strong chemical smell, which lingered long after use, especially indoors. I had to air out the rooms for quite a while.
However, Considering its lackluster performance, the price tag seems steep. I was expecting a premium product, but it didn’t justify the cost.
Alternatives
If you’re looking for alternatives to Abracadabra Contractor Strength Super Cleaner, there are several powerful cleaners available that can handle tough stains, grime, and grease. Here are some highly regarded options:.
- Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner
- Zep Industrial Purple Degreaser
- Krud Kutter Original Concentrated Cleaner/Degreaser
- Citra Solv Natural Cleaner & Degreaser
Conclusion
For everyday cleaning, it might work decently on very light stains, but for heavy-duty jobs (as it claims), Abracadabra Cleaner just doesn’t deliver. I’d recommend sticking with more affordable, trusted cleaners unless you want to spend extra on something that doesn’t outperform the basics.
Check out Horsepower Scrubber I reviewed earlier.
I super appreciate your notice as have issue with roof tar sealant on my vinyl siding and tried to remove with gasoline which did cut through the body part of the tar sealant but left a stain behind. Now looking for something to remedy the stain which was left or will have to replace the vinyl. Being on social security I cannot afford to be throwing away money!
WD40 WORKS, WASH WITH SOAP AND WATER AFTER.
I also appreciate your valuable comments Claude and so well expressed.
When I saw the TV commercial, I knew that this product was too good to be true because I had been disappointed in the past purchasing cleaning products that didn’t clean as advertised. Currently, when I look for customer reviews, I do not go to the manufacture’s webpage, instead I go to independent customer reviews. I find these reviews much more helpful. Thanks for posting!

I need something for this residue that is left on windows from the factory after they install the frames to the glass and the workers ALWAYS leave these glue marks from their gloves or hands. Any top picks getting it off because I don’t wanna risk gauging the windows or sitting there with a rag and my finger scrubbing it for two mins till it disappears.. Any tip would be great! Thanks in advance.
