Frownies Wrinkle Patches promise to naturally smooth static wrinkles and fine lines on the forehead and between the eyes. These overnight facial patches treat frown lines by splinting facial muscles, lifting lines, and relaxing facial tension, offering a unique alternative to other beauty tapes. Suitable for all ages, Frownies are made from weighted unbleached Kraft paper and feature a water-activated, starch-based adhesive.

How To Apply This Frownies Wrinkle Patches

Tear patches along perforations. Wet shiny side with warm water or Rose Water Hydrator. Wait for adhesive to become tacky. Apply overlapping patches across forehead. Wear overnight or for at least 3 hours.

My Wife’s Experience Using Frownies Face Patches

These patches don’t seem to help with the wrinkles caused by facial muscle movements. They’re meant to smooth out lines that develop over time from these expressions. I really wanted to like this product, but I couldn’t. Maybe my wife didn’t use them correctly the few times she tried, but that was enough to decide. Like other reviews mentioned, the perforations often send extra pieces flying, usually sticking to the sink. Application isn’t easy, but she could deal with that. They have a strong odor, like feet in her opinion. They’re not comfortable to wear, whether during the day or overnight. There’s no way she’d regularly wear them overnight due to the time and discomfort of application. And removing them… it’s painful! Any wrinkles they softened seemed to come back immediately when she removed them. Again, maybe she did it wrong. Her face was left dry and red, and any smoothing effects didn’t last long. Maybe with consistent use, results can be achieved, but in her opinion, the drawbacks outweigh the benefits.
