Oribreeze Air Cooler is currently trending online and appearing on different social platforms. Does it come with quality as advertised or another sham?

In this post, I will be sharing the experience I had using this Oribreeze Air Cooler in my room. Although the product promises users a lot, there are no clear evidence that the product can work for all claims.

Overview of Oribreeze Air Cooler

Oribreeze Air Cooler is a small air cooler device promising to fight heat, while providing instant heat relief and soothing fresh air. They claim it “doesn’t require any additional expenses” because the cooler reduces electricity bills.

The device is designed with 3 fan speeds, that is – slow, medium and turbo. It is made with a water tank technology that fastens the cooling process as claimed.

Testing Oribreeze Air Cooler & My Observations

I was excited to try the Oribreeze Air Cooler. It was easy to set up and worked well initially. However, it had major problems. The battery didn’t last long, even after hours of charging, and it also didn’t stay on for long when plugged in. Strangely, it started turning on by itself when I wasn’t there, even though it wasn’t connected to anything. I know it sounds odd, but it happened several times. Despite the hype, the product was a big disappointment. It was easy to set up and worked briefly, but overall, it was a waste of money and didn’t help cool my place.

Other Customers’ Feedbacks

In my interest to see more about this air cooler and to read reviews from other customers, I discovered that there has been limited feedbacks from shoppers on TrustPilot. See for yourself —

This little over priced personal air cooler works. Don’t expect standard A/C or window unit performance. Love the portability and simplicity. Do not like the steep price or high false expectations it claims to be. Would I purchase it again? Only if it was more than 1/2 price of what I paid for.

Customer

This product looks like it falls into the “too good to be true” category. The web site has an ‘article’ about the product has a number of what look like honest reviews from happy customers, with profile photos, albeit all written in the same gushing prose and all overwhelming positive about the product. The bottom of the web page however states, “ THIS WEBSITE IS AN ADVERTISEMENT AND NOT A NEWS PUBLICATION. ANY PHOTOGRAPHS OF PERSONS USED ON THIS SITE ARE MODELS.” Surely this just means fake reviews? The product also appears to have 8,759 reviews on a site called ‘TrustRate’ that looks remarkably like Trustpilot, but I cannot find TrustRate. I would love to hear an actual independent review of the product, but from looking at the website, I would be surprised it actually worked.
