My Experience Using The Pico Spy Camera
I recently purchased the Pico Spy Camera after seeing so many ads about it on my Tiktok FYP, I bought the camera hoping to enhance my home security, but the experience has been far from satisfactory. Here’s a breakdown of the issues I encountered:
The Pico Spy Camera has very low video quality, Despite the product advertising HD video quality, the footage was grainy and unclear, especially in low-light conditions. The night vision feature was practically useless, rendering almost indistinguishable images. This was beyond disappointing for me. The camera’s battery life was also a significant letdown. It barely lasted two hours on a full charge, which is far from adequate for any meaningful surveillance. The advertised battery life was 12 hours which was highly exaggerated. Also setting up the Wi-Fi connectivity was a nightmare. The camera frequently lost connection, making monitoring almost impossible for me. I had to constantly reconnect and troubleshoot, which defeated the purpose of having a convenient surveillance tool.
The storage capacity was another major drawback. The camera’s limited internal storage filled up quickly leading to loss of footage. Another thing to note is the fact that the camera build was very poor, very flimsy and looked so cheaply made. After a few days of use, it started showing signs of wear and tear, and the buttons became unresponsive.
Finally, the motion detection feature was so sensitive, it was always generating numerous false alarms. On the other hand, it sometimes failed to detect any actual movement.
Is The Pico Spy Camera A Scam?
The Pico Spy Camera is not a scam, but it is not worth buying! Do not waste your money on it as it just a generic camera with aggressive advertising.

Overall, the Pico Spy Camera did not meet my expectations. Its poor video quality, short battery life, connectivity issues, limited storage, and questionable build quality made it a complete waste of money. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable surveillance camera.
