I bought the TurmaCure Turmeric and Emu Oil Skin Antibacterial Gel after seeing it pop up on a few natural skincare forums and ads that promised all kinds of healing benefits—from calming breakouts to fading scars to fixing dry, irritated skin. I’ve been trying to switch to more natural products, so the idea of turmeric (with its supposed anti-inflammatory properties) and emu oil (which I’d heard was great for healing) sounded promising.
Unfortunately, after using it consistently for about three weeks, I can honestly say: it didn’t do much of anyI applied it twice a day on areas where I tend to break out—mainly my jawline and chin—and also on a couple of healing acne scars.
